To make any manual color correction adjustments to a clip, you must first add one of the color correction effects available in Final Cut Pro (Color Board, Color Wheels, Color Curves, Hue/Saturation Curves, or Color Adjustments). Select a color from the RGB display to adjust the overall shading optionally. Step 3: Add a color correction effect and perform primary color correction. Click the Color tab and adjust the Global slider or adjust Global or individually adjust Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights. Click the Saturation tab and adjust the Global slider or adjust Global or individually adjust Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights. Click Exposure and adjust Global or individually adjust Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights. Click the Settings menu again, then select Vertical Layout. Click the Settings menu, then select Waveform. The Video Scopes provide information about brightness and color in the current video frame. Press Command-7 to open the Video Scopes.
